Every job gives one a decent dose of stress. You could either let it consume you or you deal with it. In the call center industry, stress is pretty much a part of the environment. Kind of like air if you ask me. With the ever changing goals/metrics, irate callers, critical bosses, long hours, lack of sleep, annoying co-workers, burn out and the like makes one feel like your head is going to burst. So what do you do? I learned from experience and books as well that the following can save your soul:

1. Sleep is the best medicine

2. Positive Mental Attitude (PMA) goes a loooong way

3. Exercise the stress out of your body

4. Breathing exercises (or smoking) relaxes you quickly

5. Stress Balls

6. Laughter

7. Get a hobby

8. Get yourself a nice therapeutic massage

9. Pamper yourself

10. Spend time with friends and love ones

11. Have a good diet

12. Get the hell out of dodge and get yourself a nice vacation

We just came back from vacation and now we’re ready (hopefully) to face reality when we go back to work today.
