Call Center Courses

And so the need was created…

I think it was 5 or 6 years ago that I found out through a radio ad that a call center course is being offered to aspiring call center applicants. Unfortunately, not all people are qualified for call centers and most of the time its because of their communication skills. Luckily, there are some institutions that offer call center courses that equip their students with the right skills that is required in the call center industry. Since I started writing about how to find a call center job, and Gary has been ranting about applicants who can’t speak English at all, I thought of looking for some institutions that offer these courses. So if you’re like one of those people that he calls “criers,” don’t lose hope. I have also met some people who tried several times for a period of 6 months before they got in. There was even one who I know tried for years, but happily landed a comfortable job.

Here are some of the ones I found that may be of use to aspiring call center applicants:.

  • John Clements Consultants, Inc.
    • I myself have experienced how they assess potential applicants when I was looking for a job last year. John Clements Consultants have other companies as clients wherein they serve as a headhunter.Since part of their services is also looking for employees for their clients, they would try as much as possible to get as much qualified people as they can. If someone was assessed and deemed not qualified, they would offer some short training courses for a reasonable price that will aide them in developing their communication skills.
  • Philippine Women’s University
    • The offer a 5-month Call Center Agent Course and a 100-hour Finishing Course for Call Center Agents.
  • TESDA Accredited Institutions
    • Wow, they have a lot. Jobs is TESDA IS jobs!
