If you watched the cartoon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles back in the early 90’s, you probably had your favorite turtle. Most people I know liked Michelangelo, for the obvious reason that he’s funny. But my favorite was actually Donatello for two reasons: One, he was extremely intelligent and I have a certain liking for geeks; and two, the long bo was really handy when I was playing the video game. Now imagine my reaction when I found out that Donatello actually became a technical support rep!
Who would’ve thought, right?
This actually brings up something that I realized a few months back. You’ll never know who you’ll meet in this industry. You’ll get to meet all sort of people. Seminarians, college drop-outs, suma cum laudes, teachers, business owners, entertainers from Japan, seamen/seawomen, chefs, news reporters, statisticians, philosophers, nurses, special educators… whew! The list just goes on and on.
Blind Item Alert!
I’ve met a Filipino teen celebrity (HR), MTV-Indonesia VJ (Training), bass player of a Filipino band (Planning), and a Filipino underwear model (Operations Associate) all currently working in different call centers.
On a different note, TMNT is still showing in theaters everywhere.
