Once again, I’ve been caught up with my deliverables and the mid-year performance review. Hectic. Extremely hectic. I don’t even check my email or friendster anymore.
Anyway, here’s the 4-1-1 on the latest call center news:
- eTelecare gets a credit facility from Wells Fargo NA. The drawdown was said to be made right after the previous credit deal was terminated last July. The credit facility will be used for eTelecare’s working capital for the next four years, which includes their sixth call center in the Philippines and the thirteenth in the world.
- Altitude Software expects market share growth in the Asia Pacific Region, including the Philippines and India. They also announced that a partnership with IP-Convergence Data Center, Inc. which will help attract more customers in the country.
- PCCI promotes BPO training centers in the provincial areas. Because of the increasing demands to set up call centers in the country, the program aims to meet up to the growing expectations of establishing nationwide reach of promoting excellent BPO service.
That’s all for now. Back to work!
