I was walking around Festival Mall when I noticed this tall good-looking guy looking at me.
I pretended not to notice and flicked out my mobile phone pretending to read a SMS message so I don’t have to do a double-take.
When I looked up, he was still looking at me.
I began thinking he possibly found me cute or something. So me being easily flattered, I kept a smile to myself and walked away.
Surprisingly, he started approaching me.
I thought “Grabe naman ‘to! (This guy’s something else!)” but still acted that I didn’t notice him and continued walking.
He finally came up to me and said…
“Excuse me, Miss…”
So I looked up and said…
“Yes?”
Then he dropped the bomb…
“We’re from Convergys. You might be interested in applying?”
Call Center Recruitment Specialists. No wonder. And I thought I just looked cute that day.
Bleh.
