Coal or Diamond?

leave a response

Something I learned in my recent Leadership Training:

“There are two things made by pressure: COAL and DIAMONDS. In our industry, we are always working under pressure. But in the end, it is you who chooses what you want to be.”

I’ve been let down. I’ve been resilient. I’ve been coal. I’ve been a diamond. Not until now did I realize that I chose what I wanted to be.

Anyone can shine like a diamond. You just have to want to be one.
